This project aimed to optimize pizza facility locations in Calgary using geospatial analyses in ArcGIS Pro. The methodology involved creating a network dataset, defining demand and facility points, and using the Location-Allocation tool. Despite challenges in data availability and statistical analysis, the project adapted with alternative sources and transformation methods. Technical issues led to online network analysis. Recommendations, based on thorough statistical insights, spatial patterns, and competitor analyses, ensure a data-driven approach. Deliverables include output maps illustrating optimized locations, service areas, and insights into customer demographics and competitors, providing actionable intelligence for the pizza industry in Calgary.
